ConsoleMonster:
Assassins Creed is an enormous franchise, both in terms of its commercial successes and the vast mass of content with its name on the box all the more massive once merchandising, novels and extra gubbins are taken into account. Still, even for a series of such immense stature, it was always going to prove a puzzling prospect when Ubisoft decided to launch not one, but two full-price entries with nary a calendar page between their release dates.

Mikael Von Stroot for Fully 'Avin It Writes: Lets face it, the Assassins Creed Unity launch was a hot mess. Ubisoft have managed to turn the gaming world against them by releasing games that dont work as they should because they are striving to hit deadlines imposed upon them by the fat cats chomping on fattys (cigars. They aren't cannibals, we think). That being said though there seems to be an alarming trend in video games that when a product is released that doesn't meet the standards expected that a group of people decide to shout from the rooftops one phrase that makes my blood boil; Im going to sue you.

Kevin of Paranerds writes: "Well that was a crazy year now wasnt it? The new consoles are still grinding their gears trying to get everyone to get them. Nintendo Wii U surprised everyone with their lineup of games and Assassins Creed Unity came out and made Mars Attack! popular again. So now that weve played most of the games of the year which would we rank as the Top Ten? Well, we here at Paranerds.com put our snotty-little-noses together and came up with a list. The more times a game showed up the higher it went: add this with replay value or even long-term effect and it made it on the list. Keep in mind if none of us played a game we cant say if it belongs on the list (so no Destiny or Titanfall). Well my fellow readers, here are the Top Ten Games of 2014."

PopBucket writes: With every aspect of this game essentially recycled content, approach Rogue as an expansion pack rather than a sequel. Rogue does offers another decent outing of sea faring and stalking enemies whilst serving up a good spin of the seriess canon but dont expect anything fresh.
